In Madrid City Hall, Pyplok® fittings were used to connect over 25,000 feet of water mist piping and mist nozzles connections for upgrades to its fire suppression system.
Over 4,000 Pyplok® fittings, including couplings, 90° elbows, and custom reducer tees, all suitable for Fogtec proprietary nozzles, were installed on over 12,000 feet of pipe. Pyplok® is a 360° radial swaged non-welded fitting which permanently connects pipe and tube for a cold, leak-free connection. The system is fast, reliable, and tamper proof. A hydraulically powered compression tool swages the fitting over pipe/tube, plastically deforming the fitting in seconds.
Pyplok® supplies all commonly used types of pipe fittings suitable for NPS pipes, OD tubes, and metric tubes.
Pyplok® fittings come in all standard configurations (straights, 45° and 90° elbows, adapters, tees, reducers, and flanged ends) and are tested to handle pressures up to 10,000 PSI/ 690 bar.
Configurations provide permanent ends or a combination of permanent and separable ends. Separable ends include ANSI, SAE, and ISO Flanged, as well as JIC 37°, ORFS, NPT, BSPP, and DIN 24° fittings. Pyplok manufactures custom distribution blocks with two-port and four-port designs specifically for the fire mist systems.
Pyplok® fittings are available in carbon steel, duplex and super duplex stainless steel, and copper nickel (CuNi).
